Woodson High School, 4/18/05 -- CAVS TAKE A PAIR FROM OUR STATESMEN
The Fastest Sport on Two Feet. Or in
this case... Four Feet.
There's no quit in these Statesmen! When it came to just plain pride...
and determination... and attitude ... the Statesmen and Cavaliers ran together
stride for stride.
But you've gotta give Woodson their due: Man, they played really well.
They're a terrific team and they gave us difficult matchups all over the field.
No Excuses for the end results - The Cavs played really well.
But no reason to hang our heads either. We were out there workin' hard
and givin' our all.
Again we've got photos - so many photos that we've divided 'em into two separate pages.
One for the JV game and the other for the Varsity. The Statesman in that picture at left
is Michael Born, another of the outstanding Freshmen that came out for GCM's Lacrosse
program in 2005. (These guys are good!)
On Wednesday, we come back home to host the Langley Saxons.
It's all about the pride! Be there!
