Well, if you like scoring... or if you like Langley(!!)... then tonight's games went pretty well. But for Statesmen fans, it got a little ugly. :-)

Frankly, Langley and Woodson are currently battling it out for the top spot in the entire AAA Northern Region. In back-to-back games against these two Region leaders, we got to see first-hand just what types of teams they are. Our Statesmen pulled out all the stops, and played with lots of determination, but the final scores against both of these opponents favored the Other Side.

I don't have much detail from the JV game yet, but View From The Stands tells me that our Varsity played a VERY competitive game against the Saxons for the entire first quarter. But then things kind of broke down at bit, and when it broke, it broke big.

Again, we've got great photos - so many that we've divided 'em into two separate pages (again :-). One for the JV game and the other for the Varsity. The Statesman in this photo is Steven White, a Sophomore on the JV squad who leads most of our faceoffs.

On Monday, we're On The Road against Madison. You know where that is... so everyone Be There!
