LANGLEY TOPS MARSHALL IN PLAYOFFS - We faced a tough matchup in our playoffs opener, and gave it everything we had. But the top-ranked Langley squad had a terrific night and scored a ton. Final score 18-3.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Varsity game against Lee will be made up on FRIDAY, MAY 5. This is an away game - at Lee.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE PART DEUX - Marshall has now played FIVE of the top ten schools in the Northern Virginia LAXPower rankings. And #11? That's Falls Church. Brutal schedule, but man we're playing the best that the Northern Region has to offer.

NOTHING COULD BE SWEETER - than a win over Madison, on Senior Night! Marshall 12, Madison 10 ... And we have pictures. Lots of pictures! :-)

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE! - The 2006 Liberty District is shaping up to be a Northern Virginia powerhouse like it was in 2005. OK, so Liberty has more small schools than some other Districts, but it also has more LAX tradition. Three of LAXPower's Northern Virginia Top Ten are from the Liberty District (second only to the Division 6 Concorde). And with #8 Hayfield on our schedule as well, Marshall is playing four of those ten. (Where's the RPI when you need it? :-)

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Varsity tournament game against Washington-Lee was canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Varsity tournament game against South Lakes was canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Varsity game against Woodson will be made up on MONDAY, APRIL 24. This is a Home game.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The games against Thomas Jefferson have been moved to TUESDAY, APRIL 18. That means SENIOR NIGHT will be against Madison on April 27. (These are home games.)

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The opponent in the Hayfield tournament game on SATURDAY, MARCH 25 was changed from South County to Edison.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Varsity scrimmage against Lee was canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled. The JV game against Lee will be made up on MONDAY, MARCH 20. This is a home game (and not a scrimmage).

WE'RE WATCHING W&L UNIVERSITY for last year's Senior goalie and Co-Captain Chris Brimsek - Chris was selected to play college lacrosse at Washington & Lee University! All the very best, Chris. And congratulations!
