SUMGAI
"Sumgai" is the official designator for the ubiquitous but never-named guy on the other team who plays an important part of every lacrosse story. He is often invoked by a player trying to explain to a coach just what happened out there, but he can be part of any LAX story in which would'a meets up with could'a and should'a.

As in the phrase,

"I don't know what happened coach! I was covering my man like a blanket when suddenly SUMGAI hit me from behind!
